At Cold Crowns, we believe that hair loss should not be an inevitable part of cancer treatment. With certain treatments, you ARE able to preserve your hair. Cold Crowns provides cold capping rental services across Canada to help individuals undergoing chemotherapy retain their hair, offering not just a service—but a sense of control, dignity, and hope.
Cold Crowns began when PA, a compassionate oncology nurse recognized a critical gap in cancer care. She witnessed firsthand how deeply hair loss impacted her patients, not just physically but emotionally and mentally. After learning about cold capping—a proven method that can significantly reduce hair loss during chemotherapy—she was struck by how few Canadians had access to it or even knew it existed. Determined to change that, she partnered with Ashley, a creative fashion designer with a passion for purpose, and together they built Cold Crowns.

At cold crowns, we offer manual cold capping rentals with everything a client needs and more. We offer step-by-step instructions, in person and virtual support, dry ice sourcing and delivery as well as a community. Our services are built around the real-life needs of people navigating cancer treatment and designed to reduce stress and provide hope at a time it’s needed most.
But Cold Crowns is about more than hair preservation—it’s about community. Giving back is at the core of what we do. Through our Scrunchie Fund, we donate 100% of the profits of scrunchie sales to individuals in treatment or cancer-related charities. Each scrunchie is handmade by Ashley and represents a story—like Paula’s, a young mother and hairstylist facing cervical cancer, or Ana’s, a grandmother facing cancer supported by her loving granddaughter. These scrunchies aren’t just accessories; they’re symbols of support and strength.
We also host powerful fundraising events. Most recently, we participated in a wellness event called Pampered for Paula, which raised funds and spirits through blowouts, massages, tarot readings, and more. This June, we’re hosting Bouquets & Brunch for CURE in Cambridge, Ontario, in support of the CURE Foundation, which helps women with breast cancer facing financial hardship. The event will feature brunch, a flower truck, and a beautiful space for community to come together in purpose and love.
Cold Crowns is proud to be part of a growing movement to increase awareness of cold capping in Canada. Far too many patients are never told it’s an option. We’re working to change that through advocacy, education, and personalized support for everyone who reaches out to us.
With PA’s medical expertise and Ashley’s creative heart, Cold Crowns is built on empathy, innovation, and a commitment to care. We believe no one should feel alone in their cancer journey—and no one should feel like losing their hair is their only choice.
With Love
